Update of bug #61821 (project octave):

                  Status:                    None => Need Info
                 Summary: segfault in oct interface => segfault using
tree_parameter_list in oct file

Follow-up Comment #1:

With the information given, I cannot crash Octave.

I saved the given code in a file "params.cc" on MS Windows 10 (21H2), and
using Octave 6.4.0, 7.0.90, 7.0.91 (each w64), I get:

>> mkoctfile params.cc
>> params
ans = 1

The code itself also does not look suspicious, even though the code digs deep
into Octave internals.

Is the oct file recompiled for each used Octave version? There is no perfect
binary compatibility between releases (even minor ones).
