Follow-up Comment #8, bug #61760 (project octave):

Correction of comment#6, item 1:

Reading again the documentation, antialiasing is always true
unless "nearest" is used as interpolation method, or
if the input image is a categorical array (which is not supported by here) and
the method is "box".

So the antialiasing does not depend on upscaling or downscaling.
