Follow-up Comment #10, bug #61760 (project octave):

We would like to release image package 2.14 in the next few weeks,
after a new release candidate for Octave version 7 will be released.

I am not sure that we will be able to review the Lanczos code before the
release, but the antialiasing for bicubic interpolation could be a very good
contribution to this image package release.
