Follow-up Comment #30, bug #61812 (project octave): Pushed a modified version of the patch from comment #25 here: https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/9c98df2035a3 I believe we needed that change in any case. I agree that it could be the way forward to adapt a more C++-y style of using those constant. It looks like they are constexpr.
