I will take care of your valuable suggestions.
I do not think that usage of imcast will be good here.
imcast changes the scale of the image ([0:255] -> [0:1]),
here we just want to change the type without rescaling.
About imperspectivewarp.m - it should be replaced by imwarp, as you have
already commented in comment#2
