Well, I should feel a bit guilty because I noted this bug already several
weeks ago.
Because I usually use dev Octave with some extra mods I usually assume issues
are my own fault - not in this case BTW. 2nd after that, our IT facilities are
somewhat in turmoil and sometimes cause sneaky problems. Therefore, bugs in
Octave usually only come 3rd on my "suspicion" list :-) unless they're
obvious, and that wasn't quite the case here.
And due to other priorities, sorting it out and promoting this issue to #1 on
the list took some time :-)
