Follow-up Comment #41, bug #62352 (project octave):
@Nicholas I tried creating an exception twice with avast. I tried doing both
just the GUI and the whole folder neither worked. Even after following the
steps for an advanced exception. Octave did not open until I completely
uninstalled avast from my computer. After working on Octave I downloaded avast
back onto my computer to see if octave would act up again and the white screen
issue returned.
