an alt-tab hack would probably muddy up a fair amount of source due to
the way ratpoison handles keys.

In time (sooner than later) I hope to implement a key handling
mechanism similar to emacs with arbitrary prefix maps. This would
allow you to bind any key combination, such as alt-tab.

If you'd like to work on something like this I would gladly accept it!
