> Why don't we just use bind?
Because if you bind something to two different keystrokes (so if I
mistype something, I still get what I expect), and want to change
both, without link I need to change all the bindings associated with a
command. With link, I only change the primary one, and all the others
will follow.
Sure, for non-interactive use, it is no use, but for those like
myself, who are never satisfied with the bindings, and find new ways
to improve it, it's a great help.
