        The instructions did not change but the anonymous checkout
backend did change. Until a month ago it was possible to anonymously
checkout from /cvsroot, although it was not documented. The anonymous
checkout changed because of the large number of projects and it is no
longer possible to anonymously checkout from /cvsroot, only from
/cvsroot/project.
