My project, Enigma, is a re-implementation of Oxyd, a computer game
that was very popular on the Atari ST. Your objective is to maneuver
a black marble through levels packed with dangerous objects (like
bombs, laser beams, or swamps), puzzles, and areas that require all
your dexterity if you want to prevent your marble from falling into
abysses or being shattered by rampage stones or rotors.
Enigma is written in C++ and uses the SDL library (www.libsdl.org)
for graphics and sound support. So far, about 80% of the game engine
and 20% of the game objects are implemented. A lot of work still
remains to be done, but the game is already playable. There are two
screenshots and my current development snapshot available at
http://www.rzuser.uni-heidelberg.de/~dheck/enigma/
