JModeler is a student project at a swedish university.
The application will be written in Java, and will let the user draw (or import 
from a file) a finite state machine, and execute it. 

The user interface will be written with the Java Swing package.
There will of course not be any commercial components in the software, and 
maybe no other packages at all will be used except from the standard java 
packages (but perhaps a regular expression package like jakarta\'s regexp or 
oro may be used somewhere).

A finite state machine (FSM) is a bunch of states and transitions (a graphical 
represenatation of a transition will be an arrow between states).

Execution of the FSM will mean that the states and transitions will be shown in 
different colors as the FSM moves between the states and transitions.
