Description:
This project will be a program in text mode making it possible to translate DVI 
files into XML format.

The converted document will have the same page-setting as the original one. 
Graphics and unusual fonts will be converted into bitmap images.

This application will be written in Java (v1.4), compatible with GNU Classpath.

Currently no line of code is written, but because this project is started 
within the framework of an university duty, it will be finished in two or three 
months.



Other Software Required:
Java classes which will be used in this program are not yet known but will be 
able to run with free Java environments.
