If the *mod_perl* developer insisted to put a copy of the Apache code in
our CVS server, with its GIF files, it would be refused. If he submitted just
the mod_perl code, without GIF images, it would be approved.

The no-GIF images requirement is clearly explained in the registration process
you followed when you submitted your project.

Sorry; gnu.org used to receive too much spam so they set up some anti-spam
filters and seems to make some messages sent to address@hidden not to be
delivered. The e-mail I sent you had savannah-hackers in the CC: so you could
reply to that list which I read.

I did reply with my personal e-mail address.
