Description:
Debian Hardened is a project that brings to Debian GNU/Linux high security & 
hardening features, hardened kernels & packages (Stack Smashing Protector + PIE 
compiled), the DHKP and linux entropy pool enhancements (and the LTRNG) for 
strong cryptography.

The development aims to go in the Debian mainline and also being an official 
debian subproject (this would happend probably after Sarge release).

It brings the most known hardening features to Debian, without waiting fr long 
testing times and also providing stable packages, severally tested by the DH 
developers.

Other Software Required:
SELinux (gpl), grSecurity (gpl), PaX (gpl), OpenPax (gpl), OpenWall Owl (gpl), 
RSBAC (gpl), Vanheusden Security Patches (gpl), Fortuna patch (gpl), other 
security-related ONLY free software (licensed under GPL/LGPL terms) or under 
the Python-Apache software licenses.
