I use clisp v2.46 and I compiled it like this:

unset CFLAGS CXXFLAGS
configure --prefix=/usr --with-module=clx/new-clx --with-module=rawsock --with-module=pcre --cbc build
cd build
make install

It sounds to me like a clisp problem. Did you compile your own clisp?
