Hi Norbert and Alvaro,

My main worry about the Qt port is that the editor gradually tends to
become very slow and consume a lot of memory on my laptop.
I think that I did correct all major memory leaks, so the problem
should really be in Qt or its combination with guile.
Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Apart from that, the Qt port should be expected to be a bit slower
for the moment, until double buffering is reimplemented in an optimal way.

My second main worry is the instability with respect to different
versions of Qt. Especially on Linux, segfaults appear and disappear
more or less randomly as a function of the version of Qt.
Maybe this is related to just one functionality that we should
avoid to use.

Apart from these worries, all other problems should be straightforward
to fix if one takes the necessary time.

Best wishes, Joris
