| Derek needs to answer this question.
If someone else manages to fix the problem on Max OS X and sends me a
patch, I'll release 1.12.2 as soon as I can get the patch committed.
Probably a day or two after I see the patch.
If not, then I'm going to have to set aside some time to debug the
problem and I have a few other things on my plate at the moment, so it
might be awhile.

| This is fixed in the cvs 1.12.1.1 (top-of-tree).
If Christos is referring to symlinks in $CVSROOT, it is fixed. If he
means random symlinks in random places in the repository, then I think
that is likely broken, at least with LockDir set in CVSROOT/config.

| Okay... I am someone biased against auth stuff in the current CVS, but I
| understand the need. I probably would not be helping to commit this one.
I thought CVS already worked with at least GSSAPI. It used to work with
Krb4, though that code might be suffering from bitrot. Did you just fix
this for a particular platform?

|
| I am not sure I understand this one.
I think he means making the CVSADM macro subject to runtime redefinition.
