Hmmm... So, the 'cvs login' exits with an error condition for some
reason? Very strange.

I understand. I do not have access to any windows box of any revision
and I refuse to pay for it ever again. I prefer to use Open Source
operating systems such as GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and maybe
OpenSolaris. (My employer also has a Solaris 10 box.) I am sometimes able
to test on a PowerBook running MacOS X 10.4.

I doubt if I will ever know first hand. If you can reproduce this on a
GNU/Linux or other open source platform, please let us know.
