So, just to clarify.  The code in question is closed-source, and you can't get the source code to modify it?

If it's directly linked with Gnu Radio libraries, that's a bit of a legal problem...

i could make 2 unknown (to me) projects talk to each other, and then develop my project as well, but I am a single developer, and just want to demonstrate feasibility of approach. My final project will have my own code.
