well - what should I say!
I recompiled gcc-3.0 with my (broken ?) gcc-3.0: configure ...
make bootstrap && make check && make install ...

I've just installed GNUstep (CVS from 2 hours ago)!
Everthing works now! strange, isn't it ?!

BTW: thanks for you help nicola (and others), even if I already
did it the right way :) - and i'm allways compiling
in the source dir *smile*

I still have some problems with the stolen mouse focus for
some app while running a GNUstep app, but I think this is a
known issue (just an annoying "feature")
