Yes, its a great idea - I am just interested that they havent chosen to
implement it by simply making it a C wrapper round the existing NS
implementations.

Probably for performance reasons.


I would do the same in Gnustep.

I should keep my emails I think - am now confused, is it not you who is
"porting" CF to Linux then ? Oops!

No, I just saw a posting once. I thought I saved it somewhere. But I can't find it at the moment. Sorry
