Nothing is currently wrong with GCC, I was referring to an incident that occurred in the past.   That being said, it is possible to fork it and fix it, but that's hardly the point.   The issue is that GCC doesn't consider bugs with ObjC worth waiting for.

Has anyone tried to fork GCC and fix this in another copy? Then they might decide to merge these changes. Or is there something that's conceptually wrong with GCC that would prevent this?
