LilyPond has a whole "Contributor's Guide"
<URL:http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/contributor/>, of
course written in Texinfo like all of the documentation. Contributing
to the documentation is covered in
<URL:http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/contributor/documentation-work>.
This includes a primer of the basic Texinfo commands used in its
documentation.
