The latest REXML from the rpms worked fine for me
on Redhat 7.2
I don't know what OS/distro are you using, but you
can find the canned thing that works out of the box
(courtesy Ian McDonald) at:

Though I didn't have any trouble with REXML 
I certainly have problems with FXScintilla.

The hacks in the GUI core don't seem to work
for me, some functions seem to expect different
number of parameters than they receive.

Could someone please report what versions
of FXRuby, and the fox toolkit libs are we
using for this particular release ?

I know Curt was in a hurry but maybe someone
(Rich ?) can tell us what are the 3rd party
modules we need in order to get started with
this release.
