I have been developing the script engine, and know the developers very 
well, and I have to say: nobody really knows what these globule guys 
really are !

Legend tells that the globules came out of the void, or perhaps out of 
the programmers mind ? We don't know where their home is neither their 
purpose in life. Some tell that they are not conscious being and only 
report to the Hive collective's mind like the insects. Other think that 
we just are unable to see beyond our predefined path and recognize the 
way the globules are showing us.

Are they leaderless ? Why would the obey our orders ? Why do they fight 
different colored globules. What are they made of ? Look at them walk, 
where us up, where is down ? Nobody knows. As of myself, I found this 
ignorance rather enjoyable, I can finally make my own story, I can have 
the globules to be what I want them to be. As long that nobody takes a 
decision, the globules are everything and nothing. They shall just be !

As you can see, story diverges from here. These are mere supposition 
whereas the why and the how of their existence.

I hope you are not too deceived about this uncertainty. You are welcome 
to join the members desirous to define the globules universe, enhance 
the wiki; make your propositions, make your story of what the globules 
shall be. As for myself, I prefer to live knowing that there is a great 
part of mystery and unknown lying in these cute little things.
