That sounds like a good Idea, and i did mention that it's mainly just for chatting but that YOG will simply connect when we have people that want to finnd someone to play with.

Yea so we would have to make the change and put it in head, maybe make a .1 release for now? as they do want us to leave so soon.
maybe now we can put the irc server in preferences.txt because if anything does happen and say OFTC reconsiders we wont have as much hassel putting it on a backup IRC or what not.

Quickfix: is just to change in YOGScreen.cpp from irc.freenode.net to irc.oftc.net
i tried it and it worked fine.

The main problem is that the glob2 spreaded everywhere has freenode hardcoded
in it !

So the only way would be to make a release from HEAD that changes this, and
have a bot on freenode asking the people to upgrade.
