[glob2-devel] scons failure: SConsEnvironment instance has no attribute

From: Joe Wells
Subject: [glob2-devel] scons failure: SConsEnvironment instance has no attribute 'Clone' (was: .tar.gz file for Release Candidate Beta 1)
Date: Tue, 31 Jul 2007 09:55:04 +0100
User-agent: Gnus/5.11 (Gnus v5.11) Emacs/22.1 (gnu/linux)

I tried running scons in the glob2-0.9.1 directory of the unpacked
.tar.gz file and got this output (this is the entire output):

----------------------------------------------------------------------
scons: Reading SConscript files ...
AttributeError: SConsEnvironment instance has no attribute 'Clone':
  File "SConstruct", line 178:
    main()
  File "SConstruct", line 130:
    configure(env)
  File "SConstruct", line 27:
    conf = Configure(env.Clone())
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm using this scons version:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
SCons by Steven Knight et al.:
        script: v0.96.1.D001, 2004/08/23 09:55:29, by knight on casablanca
        engine: v0.96.1.D001, 2004/08/23 09:55:29, by knight on casablanca

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone help?

P.S. By the way, this is the scons version that comes with Ubuntu
6.06 LTS (“Dapper Drake”). I have no plans to upgrade my Ubuntu any
time in 2007.
