I agree with some of the other people on this thread that it is
probably not a very good idea to start yet another project.

I thought there was no official nokia software for windows with support
for the 3410. Is it available for download somewhere?
By the way, does it support java download through the cable (as opposed
to download by WAP)?

I'll try this too on my 3410 with gnokii (using --foogle or so)
and report back here what I find.

My 3410 has 5 specific SMS profiles and 1 'common' profile,
I don't know the limit on the number of SMS messages.
Perhaps it depends on the firmware version (type *#0000# to find it out).
I have version 3.09 by the way, but I think they're already up to 4.26.
