Are you _positive_ that fish == ssh-ftp/sftp? Because from what I find:
"fish is a protocol for transferring FIles over a SHell connection"

Which means that fish doesn't actually use the sftp binary but rather
does shell commands (ls/dd/etc), and is alas _very_ different from sftp.

Maybe tla should support fish (though I'm not too sure).
