Some days ago I tried this, but tla (--devo--1.2--patch-86) didn't
seem to register the archive:

    tla grab http://sourcecontrol.net/grabs/tlacontrib
    archive not registered: address@hidden
      (see register-archive)
    Grabbing: address@hidden/http://arch.linuxguru.net/~jblack/{archives}/2004
    Source: http://arch.linuxguru.net/~jblack/{archives}/2004, Dest: tlacontrib

After registering the archive by hand, grab works, but the checked out
tree has no tree-version set (++default-version missing).
