Try writing some GPL'd Mainframe OS software that encroaches on one
of IBM's patents and see how fast IBM slaps a million dollar patent
infringement action on your ass.

A bit strange that there're raving libertarians (about as far from socialists as you can get) who're so keen "to thrust socialism upon a democratic majority".

IBM was the World's first multinational convicted computer
monopolist. Funny how you so greatly admire Nicro$ofts role
model.

Actually, if you're talking about the USA, forget about democracy. What you've got there is plutocracy, rule by the rich. What makes you think that "a democratic majority" positively wants this system?

You callin' Barack Obama a billionaire Queen? He. He.

Use your intlligence, if you've got one. RMS saying he wants to see proprietary software wiped out is like you saying you want Miss M. Monroe on a blanket - it's a motivating fantasy, which everyone knows will remain fantasy, but useful none the less.

The very essence a GNU fantasy -- you never lose, you just
rationalize mooooooooooving the goalposts.

Sincerely,
Rjack :)
