I just noticed, in the most recent screenshot under "History" the line which
begins
Bruder
so suggest this panel be renamed to include "Family".
Since family content is positioned topmost, I might suggest that Family appear
first in the improved name.
A name like
Family / past history
is slightly ambiguous as to whether we are talking the past history of the
family or of the patient and the other consideration which pulls at me is
whether it is the family history or the patient's own history that is more
important. Some family history poses known risks and others unknown risks for
the patient. I suspect if there existed a family where
Mother died at 47 with colon cancer
Uncle died at 62 with colon cancer
Brother is s/p colon cancer age 42
then really this patient needs a health issue
Elevated cancer risk (Family, Ca colon, age ≥ 42, multiple)
and the details of the above family members could then more safely float down
to the bottom of History along with the fact that Father had diabetes at 67 and
is presently deceased.
