I went from Eudora to vm. About once a month Eudora would start
crashing on startup so that I couldn't read my mail. This would
happen both on my NT system at work and my Windows 98 then
Millenium machine at home. The problem seemed to be related
to the number of messages left on the server. I could never
get Eudora to delete messages on the server properly.

I've been on vm about 3 months with never a crash. It's
just as fast as Eudora and it's a lot easier to keyboard
through my mail. Plus it's embedded in Emacs.

I don't miss Eudora one bit.
