There is the following note about GNATS pronunciation in one of its
scripts:

  # This file is part of GNU GNATS.  
  # (GNNOUUUUUUUUU GNATS!  GNOUUUUUUUUU GNATS!  Doesn't that have a nice
  # sound?  Especially if you say all the Gs?)
