What do you mean?
About Emacs, the package Emacs-Guix (which needs love!) helps to
manage profiles, environments, etc. Well, when it is not broken [1].
Since I have never used VSCode (and I will never do, almost surely),
could you indicate what/how VSCode does with Python tools (virtualenv,
conda, etc.)? And about C tools since you seems interested in?
