lisp/ChangeLog includes more that 4000 lines (bug fixes) between
5.10.6 (2004-01-04) and 5.10.8 (2006-04-11).  I think it's worth an
update.

It would be great if you could figure out which changes between 5.10.8
and No Gnus fixed this bug.  The wen could include these fixes in
5.10.x as well.
