I recommend that you check out yum.
It is the "factory supported" method of installing packages, and does 
dependency tracking.
You can also add 3rd party repositories if Fedora doesn't ship with 
what you are looking
for.

you need

 * pango-devel-1.6.0-somethings
 * fontconfig-devel
 * GTK+ 2.x is in the package gtk2 , but you shouldn't  need it for 
lilypond
