I'm not sure.  I tried overriding the X-extent of BarLine, but the 
right
extent seems to be ignored.  I've not been able to discover what
controls the ending of the staff lines (other than reaching the 
right
margin), or the placement of a final bar line relative to the end of
the staff lines.

Probably, but it eludes me.
