Mike, it seems that the existing properties 'height-limit and 'ratio *should* 
control the situations in issue 163.

In fact, making 'height-limit larger (?!) and 'ratio smaller usually succeeds
as a work-around to issue 163. 

Maybe the code using 'height-limit does not do what the programmer wanted it 
to do, and that part of the code might be a simpler place to insert your fix?
