Please don't top-post.  As noted in the email, there is better
formatting in the online version:

Copy&paste in firefox produced the previous version.  Perhaps a
copy&paste in chrome or safari or internet explorer would produce
a nicer version.  Perhaps running the source (in
lilypond-extra/gop/) through texi2html with different options (see
the makefile in that dir) would produce nicer-formatted text.
