Give me two days, and then you replace your define-public for the alists with define-session, and that's it. The rest of the code stays as it is.

I'll make define-session do everything that is needed. Just that it is possible to learn all the internals of LilyPond session does not mean that it makes sense that you are required to do so just in order to accomplish a simple task. http://codereview.appspot.com/6498052/
