Muted choir

Buonasera,
Mi chiamo Mauro e sono un utilizzatore di Lilypond da molti anni.
Sono un musicista non vedente e questo editor mi è molto pratico in fase di 
input.
Ho un problema poiché non riesco a trovare riferimenti su come rappresentare 
nella musica vocale un coro muto.
Grazie per l'aiuto che potrete fornirmi.

My name's Mauro and I'm an Lylipond user from many years.
I'm blind and I find this solution  really comfortable for me because in this 
way I can  control every step of input mode.
I've got a problem and I need your help because I can't find references about 
how to write muted choir on vocal staff.
