Ah, excellent work, thanks a lot for getting that going :) It was one of the main things I've missed from CVS.
I take the opportunity of this outburst of joy to summarize the things where monotone still lacks for me currently (I might undertake to implement one or the other) [in descending order of importance to me]:
- send a mail to a list whenever a new manifest is pushed/commited to a database (kind of log from a (central) repository). It should contain the ChangeLog,author, date, branch certs of the new manifest. Perhaps using lua is a good idea to format the mail (cvs usually uses perl or bash scripts for this task)
- the ability for parallelized/resumed merges (see: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/monotone-devel/2004-05/msg00045.html). Graydon, what do you think about this? (It's the 3rd time I ask ;-/ )
- work with subsets of a manifest and/or supersets of several manifest (subset)s (like CVS modules). This still needs a proper design proposal (I don't have one).
[You see Changesets are not important to me at all ;-) ] ChristofPS: Can I expect a java-cairo binding soon (since you are busy elsewhere) ;-)
