Well, actually, there was a little more.  I'm quite mystified by that
parsing error, and I've no clue how to get at it.  Plus, I've my son
at home right now and am quite tired.  I'll get back to this when I've
some time and my brain is a little more on.

Maybe this is yet another boost version problem?
