Follow-up Comment #24, bug #55347 (project octave):

Regarding the use of qterminal: There were several changes in our fork that
are tightly related to the use for octave. Therefore, it might be quite
difficult to use the qterminal lib. Moreover, as already mentioned by Mike,
the long term plan is to replace a terminal solution by another approach,
which is less dependent on the target platform.
