Follow-up Comment #25, bug #55347 (project octave):
There also seems to be at least one bug in gnulib (Windows only) that is
attributed to GNU Octave on PVS's website:

Do we want to fix this downstream for us? I don't know the procedure to get
this fixed upstream.
It'd be nice if we could check the platform dependent code (Windows), too.
How could this be done? With MXE Octave?
