Follow-up Comment #17, bug #57867 (project octave):

Please attach a patch or hg export to this bug report, not a new oct file or a
swig wrapper or standalone program. The patch should apply to a current
version of Octave's default or stable branch.

I'm deleting all the attachments here that look like they are attempting to
create a new strrep function from scratch using C++, STL, and swig, they are
not addressing this bug report at all.
