Follow-up Comment #30, bug #57867 (project octave):

The attached file isn't really a proper patch file, it looks like a copy-paste
from a terminal reading a patch file through a pager. If you want to generate
a patch file, please use 'hg export` properly, this is all described on the
wiki.

If there is a big enough change in behavior, then yeah it should probably be
documented, and tests definitely should be added.

One complication to add to comment #29, running tests on built in functions is
a little trickier for now. For this function, it would be something like `test
libinterp/corefcn/strfind.cc-tst`, or maybe `test
/full/path/to/libinterp/corefcn/strfind.cc`.
