Follow-up Comment #39, bug #57635 (project octave): Philip, thanks for testing. Weird, at first sight I do not see any changeset neither in octave sources nor in mxe sources that might have introduced the issue (mybe, except for an update to qt 5.13.1 in mxe on Sep 06?). Hg200, no problem, I can test myself in windows the setFocus/setFocusProxy thing. I didn't realize that you are debugging on Fedora and not on Windows. The focusInEvent is triggered two times if the tab you are closing does not have focus.
